The day of this bike ride was 25 April, one day before my birthday. I was lucky enough on Saturday morning to find a few hours to pedal my bike. My wife had to work at her school all day and my daughter had homework and her own plans. The weather was fantastic and I was under no pressure to log a big distance or elevation, a leisurely 40~50 kms would be perfect.
